An Early Birthday Bash: Friends, Food, and Fun

Happy Birthday!

What a celebration it was! Another year older, new set of memories!

To cherish and capture all the memories right now, I’m writing to myself while they are still fresh. 

Even though I was born on the 24th of May, I celebrate my birthday on separate days; on my actual birthday, I spend time with my family and I pick out the date to celebrate separately with my friends (based on all of my friends’ availability). As it falls during the summer break, most people are not around and it becomes very hectic celebrating your birthday on 2 days. But it always is that way…

This is the story narrating how I celebrated my birthday, in advance, with my friends on the 11th of May.


First and foremost, the ambience at ‘La Vie En Rose Cafe and Bistro’ was mind blowing! 

From the cutlery to the napkins and tiles on the floors, everything was smeared in pink. It was cozy-and what a vibe! It just had the right amount of fuzz and buzz. The dishes were the chef's kiss; from the mouthwatering bites to the whimsical cake, everything was just on point. It felt as though time slowed when we were cracking jokes and having a great time together.


Speaking of my friends, they really made my day with their presents. They know me very well, don't they?

Their presents were very thoughtful and spot on. The fact that they give you both sentimental and fun surprises, which you love, makes you truly believe that you have a solid and long lasting friendship with these guys!

I had to remind them countless times not to spill out my embarrassing stories in front of everyone!



My feet were a little sore from standing yesterday and I had a slight food coma, but this truly was the best birthday I could’ve ever asked for. This is when you realise that these people have totally got your back and are amazing!



Here’s to more nights like this, with great food and fantastic people! Cheers! Happy Birthday in advance to me!

Out And About In Ayodhya

Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh 28th May 2025 Dear Me, On the 28th of May, me and my family went to visit Ayodhya. The day before,we had stayed together at my mom’s cousin's place,as she had come over from the US. On the 28th we had breakfast and left immediately to the Airport ,where we boarded the flight at 2 pm. It felt as though we were walking across a mall,and not even a single break we took. Our legs burned from walking and we finally reached our terminal,where we boarded the bus,to reach the flight. It was very humid. My cousins and I played ‘Guess The Movie!’ on the flight and had a roti curry roll each. Before we deboarded the flight,the pilot informed us that the temperature in Ayodhya was 38°C,and this was usually the average temperature.
